Patrick drives the overarching vision of MTC. With a foundational career spanning Wood WORKS! and serving as the Director of Mass Timber at Bird Construction, Patrick has cultivated deep, trusted relationships across government and the North American AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sectors. He acts as a critical “translator” for the industry, seamlessly bridging the gap between legacy forestry knowledge and future-facing green technology. Patrick isn’t just building a factory; his industrial and circular economic vision successfully synthesizes a complicated, multi-decade industry shift into a tangible, local reality in East Hants. This rare ability to turn vision into execution is why stakeholders follow his lead, enabling him to spearhead major regulatory shifts—like the Provincial wood charter and Halifax Centre Plan mass timber density bonus—and drive the capitalization of our $200M manufacturing facility.
